RIDEGRIDâ„¢ is an advanced rider communication system that connects multiple devices at the same time over a mesh and offers a long range. This makes it ideal for rider-to-rider and group communication. Mesh intercom is the future of intercom connectivity between riders due to its large group size, ability to dynamically reform, and coexist with music and phone calls. RIDELYNKâ„¢ is a Universal Bluetooth Intercom connection between two devices and offers a usable range of ~ 50m making it ideal for a rider and pillion connection. You can connect to a non-BluArmor device over a RIDELYNKâ„¢ connection.
Can the C30 connect to any other Motorcycle communication device?
The C30 supports Universal Bluetooth Intercom and can connect to any other headset that supports Universal Pairing. This connection is achieved over RIDELYNKâ„¢, and the maximum range is ~ 50m, making it ideal for Rider-Pillion connection. It is also possible to latch on a different Bluetooth device on to a RIDEGRIDâ„¢ mesh by establishing a RIDELYNKâ„¢ connection with that device, and then merging the RIDELYNKâ„¢ call on to an existing RIDEGRIDâ„¢ mesh.
Why does the C30 unit feature both micro-USB and Type-C ports?
The C30 features two ports. The microUSB port is used for audio – the headset cable comes with a safety-lock mechanism that ensures that the cable is held in place while riding. The Type-C port meanwhile is covered by a rubber flap and used to charge the device, using the Type-C cable provided in the box.
Can the C30 be used in rain?
Unlike some headsets available today, the C30 is IP67 rated and is hence fully waterproof and dust proof over an extended time of use.
What is the maximum range offered between two C30 devices?
The C30 offers RIDEGRIDâ„¢, our proprietary mesh technology and offers up to 1.1km of true range in a straight line. The range is measured on an open highway with line-of-sight (LOS) between the two C30 devices.
Can the RIDEGRIDâ„¢ mesh call work in ghat sections or around blind corners?
Yes, the RIDEGRIDâ„¢ mesh connection is stable around Ghat sections and corners with a reduced maximum range.

No, RIDEGRID™ communication doesn’t get hampered by altitude, our riders have tested the units on the highest motorable road in the world.
How does one reboot the C30 device?
To reboot the device press the down, centre and + and - buttons together.
How does one factory reset the C30 device?
To revert the C30 back to the factory settings, long-press the + & - Buttons for 10 secs.
How do you upgrade the C30 firmware?
C30 is continuously updated with newer and better features. These improvements are easily updated Over-the-Air (OTA) via the app itself and you don’t need any cables or additional docks or devices. Check the app to see if you need an update. You will see an alert on the main dashboard if your device requires one. Use the app to follow the steps as mentioned, ensure your device is at least 50% charged before you start the update and don’t turn off the device during the process. The app will indicate the progress status.
How long does the C30 take to fully charge? Does it support fast charging?
The C30 takes 1 hour to charge from 10% to 90% and 1hour 40 minutes to charge from 0% to 100%. 15 minutes of charging will give you 2 hours of run-time.

The C30 is designed to be installed on any motorcycle helmet. The box comes with a boom mic and two unit mounts (clamp type and sticker type).
How long can the C30 battery last on a single charge?
The C30 features a 1000 mAh battery and offers 16+hrs of overall usage on a single charge. With RIDEGRIDâ„¢ and music on, the battery lasts 16 hrs.
Can the C30 be charged and used at the same time?
